All of the Changes of LiveWire
There seems to be LiveWire, which came more recently, pranking itself because it is Harley-Davidson’s imitation category title first electric motorcycle. LiveWire S2 Del Mar is made at Harley’s Pennsylvania plant, with Harley still holding most stakes, but the motorcycle is wholly different than purely new and innovative.
This modular platform is called Arrow and it is built exclusively for LiveWire. The best part of this innovative product is that with the new S2 Del Mar one will get performance and functionality similar to what he would get in the very good LiveWire One, but as a much affordable bike.
A salute to Harley’s racing roots
Of course not a cruiser, but among the inspirations that helped to create the Del Mar is Harley’s historic relationship with racing, and in particular the concept of the XR750: “street tracker,” it said the S2 Del Mar was made for urban roads and dirt track, certainly something never intended for any of the electric motorcycles.

The lack of DC fast-charging support may deter long-distance riders but is manageable for urban users.
Comfort and Build Quality
The S2 Del Mar features a comfortable seat, responsive controls, and a sturdy build. However, it has a high seat height (32.2 inches) that may challenge shorter riders.
The TFT display, while functional, struggles in direct sunlight, and onboard storage is minimal. Still, LiveWire offers optional racks and accessories to address these shortcomings.
Price and Competition
At $15,499, the Del Mar sits below the LiveWire One in price but remains a premium offering. Competitors like Zero’s SR/F offer more range and power but lack the Del Mar’s off-road versatility.
Is it really worth spending?
The LiveWire S2 Del Mar is not merely yet another electric motorcycle; it makes a political statement. It does not ape the traditional cruisers of Harley-Davidson but instead forges new territory in American motorcycling.
Like everything else in life, it depends on your needs. Futuristic, versatile city bike meets a little dirt road fun this world’s got it all. However, in terms of long highway riding, you will feel limited by its range.
The S2 Del Mar is indeed a new, thrilling entrant into the market of electric motorcycles and further offers riders something extra in their readiness to face the future. And, of course, since Tom Cruise is allegedly in possession of one, chances are you might share a road or two with a superstar.
