• Orientation programe for secondary teachers.
• Innovations in Secondary teachers
• Training for secondary teachers on quality education, value based education, work experience, environmental education,population education,information and communication system, vocational and scientific aspects
• Encouragement of Community participatation for teachers training programmes.

CTE in GPGC Pithoragarh was established in 2006. District Pithoragarh, US Nagar and Champawat are covered by this Institute.
till now 857 teachers have been trained in 32 batches of different subjects (Hindi, english, Maths, Science, Biology, Social Studies.)

Training manual “Avhinav Path” is an inovation of CTE Pithoragarh.
